Public Rooms
The Proprietors Hall is named for the eight English Lords Proprietors who founded the colony of Carolina in 1670. The hall is an excellent place for receptions, registration areas for conferences or meetings, or for use by caterers when setting up refreshment or buffet tables. The hall leads visitors to the auditorium and the Wachovia Rooms. At the end of the hall is a sculpture by S.C. artist Linda McCune.

The auditorium is a modern, 220-seat, state-of-the-art presentation space suitable for a wide variety of uses including lectures, training seminars, audio visual presentations, annual meetings, and award ceremonies. The Wachovia conference room is a large, multi-purpose space, accommodating groups from 10 to 200. Movable walls make this space easily adaptable for a small board meeting, a seated meal, or a large standup reception. The generous support of Wachovia Bank helped make this public meeting space possible.
